Mike Schaub, Ph.D. |

Dr. Schaub is licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in Virginia and as a Psychologist in Maryland. He is also recognized by the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
Dr. Schaub received his bachelor’s degree at John Carroll University where he studied biology and obtained a master’s degree in psychology and a doctoral degree in counseling psychology from The University of Akron. His supervised clinical training began in 1995 and includes work at The University of Akron, Baldwin-Wallace College, the University of Maryland, Georgetown University, and in private practice.
He has published empirical research in several peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Counseling Psychology, Journal of Counseling & Development, Journal of Vocational Development, and Psychology of Men and Masculinity and he edits manuscripts for the Journal of Counseling Psychology and the Journal of Career Development. Dr. Schaub is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, and the National Career Development Association.
Dr. Schaub is currently the Executive Director of the Career Education Center at Georgetown University where he has worked since 2000.
