I am licensed as a psychologist in Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Maryland and recognized by the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
I received my bachelor’s degree in biology from John Carroll University and a master’s degree in psychology and doctoral degree in counseling psychology from The University of Akron.
My supervised clinical training began in 1995 and includes work at The University of Akron, Baldwin-Wallace College, the University of Maryland, Georgetown University, and in private practice.
I have published empirical research in several peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Counseling Psychology, Journal of Counseling & Development, Journal of Vocational Development, and Psychology of Men and Masculinity and edit manuscripts for the Journal of Counseling Psychology and the Journal of Career Development.
I am a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, and the National Career Development Association.
Currently, I work as the Executive Director of the Career Education Center at Georgetown University.
